Good company

Bonnie Jo Stufflebeam, who wrote (among other things) the fabulous story The Wanderers in Clarkesworld, is eligible for the John W. Campbell award for Best New Writer. So am I. So are many writers whose first sale at pro rates* was in 2012 or 2013.

She got in touch with as many of us as she could, so she could profile us on her website. It’s really lovely and I’m honoured to be in such good company. The first version of this post — my post, the one you’re reading — included a list of squees about the writers in this set of profiles. And then I realized I was squeeing one by one about all of them, and really, they’re all worth a look.

* By one definition of pro rates. See the rules here.
